About

Gordon sits at his computer I am a geek at heart dating back to my first exposure to computers in the work environment in 1989.  The computer was the Zenith Z-100 series computer with a whopping 5mhz processor and tubed monochrome display (ah, the days of typing reports in word processor PeachText for Dos).

Back then I worked as a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI).  Early in my career as an agent, I embraced technology and focused my efforts on the roles of the computer in the criminal and the law enforcement worlds.  In the early 1990’s, I was fortunate to be selected and attended one of the first Computer Forensic Media Examiners taught by none other than Howard Schmidt.  At the time, computer forensics was in its infancy and the Air Force was leading the way in developing it out of a small building on Bolling AFB, DC.

I retired from the Air Force in 2002 and currently am self employed in the personal security industry in the Pacific Northwest (Seattle Metro).  I, on occasion, enjoy tinkering with website design challenges (Joomla & WordPress), digital photography, blogging and recording of PodCasts.
